This is an informal, social, fun way of learning about wine tasting and all about Australian and New Zealand wine.
The course offers the chance to improve your wine knowledge and palate in a relaxed, fun environment. Class sizes are kept small to allow for plenty of interaction. The course comes in two variants. The 'full-length' version is 5 week while the 'mini' version is 3 weeks.
The cost of the course includes six wines per session / tuition and handouts.
Introduction to Professional Wine Training (WSET Accredited)
This is a formal, internationally recognised, European focused qualification with candidates receiving a certificate on successful completion which is highly regarded throughout the industry.
The Wine House is one of the few approved programme providers in Australia who offer the internationally acclaimed Wines and Spirits Education Trust courses.
These courses are designed for those who either work in the wine industry in hospitality or wine retail or are thinking about working in the industry. They are also suitable for the wine enthusiast who would like a structured, more formal approach to wine training and are interested in a global (particularly European) perspective and interested in being introduced to international wine standards. At the end of the courses, on successful completion of an examination, candidates are awarded a certificate.
We are delighted to offer the beginner courses: one day Level 1 Foundation course and the 8 week Level 2 course.
Intermediate Wine Appreciation (3 weeks) Course
Informal, fun courses which are a step up from the introductory course, designed for those who already have a keen wine knowledge and for those who have already attended the introduction to wine appreciation course at the Wine House.
